August looks like it might surpass it pretty handily however, with <span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/original.antiwar.com\/updates\/2012\/08\/16\/iraq-eid-slaughter-88-killed-238-wounded\/\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">128 killed<\/span><\/a><\/span> today alone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Bombings hit across Baghdad, <span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2012\/08\/16\/us-iraq-violence-idUSBRE87E0XJ20120816\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">targeting<\/span><\/a><\/span> popular restaurants in Shi\u2019ite districts of the capital as Ramadan fasts were drawing to a close.
