Ditz<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">A three-judge panel at the US Circuit Court for the District of Columbia has reacted with skepticism to the CIA\u2019s claims of secrecy in response to ACLU requests for information related to the use of drone strikes worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Judge Merrick Garland in particular<\/span><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/id\/49106654\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">seemed baffled<\/span><\/a><\/span> <span style=\"color:#000000;\">by the CIA\u2019s claim that it can neither \u201cconfirm or deny the existence\u201d of the program, citing speeches by a number of Obama Administration officials including John Brennan where they openly acknowledged and defended the program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Assistant Attorney General Stuart<\/span> <span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/courts_law\/appeals-court-judges-seem-skeptical-of-cia-secrecy-on-drone-program\/2012\/09\/20\/d30e1bd0-033c-11e2-9132-f2750cd65f97_story.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">Delery rejected<\/span><\/a><\/span> <span style=\"color:#000000;\">Garland\u2019s questions, saying that Brennan\u2019s comments \u201caren\u2019t sufficient\u201d to prove that the CIA is involved in the drone program because the US has several other spy agencies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">The ACLU has been<\/span> <span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thenewamerican.com\/usnews\/constitution\/item\/12904-aclu-demands-cia-disclose-details-of-death-by-drone-program\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">seeking<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;\"> information related to the program since January 2010 through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, which have inevitably led to lawsuits as not only has the Obama Administration refused to turn over documents, but have refused to admit that the documents even exist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><a
