It is alleged by Rachel Higgins, the guardian of the assaulted child known as &#8220;R.D.&#8221; in court documents, that officer Webb asked who would be interested in cleaning his patrol car. When R.D. said he did not want to, Officer Webb became angry and allegedly pointed his tazer the boy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Officer Webb then allegedly said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Let me show you what happens to people who do not listen to the police.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">It was at this time the claim alleges Webb shot R.D. with the tazer, administering him with 50,000 volts of electricity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">After tazing the boy, Officer Webb then allegedly ripped the barbs from R.D.&#8217;s flesh, leaving holes which will likely cause scars. The wounds were described to look like &#8220;cigarette burns.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">The lawsuit claims that R.D. now suffers from<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmedhealth\/PMH0001923\/\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">Post Traumatic Stress Disorder<\/span><\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"color:#000000;\">and is afraid to go to sleep as he believes his heart will stop beating from being administered the violent dose of electricity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Higgins is currently suing on behalf of R.D. for unreasonable seizure, excessive force,battery, negligent hiring, training, and failure to render emergency medical care.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">This case was<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.courthousenews.com\/2012\/10\/30\/51809.htm\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">originally reported by courthousenews.com<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;\">, and this lawsuit is being brought forward by the<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.civilrightslawnewmexico.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">Kennedy Law Firm<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;\">, who specialize in civil rights cases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.examiner.com\/article\/new-mexico-cop-tazes-10-year-old-boy-for-not-listening-during-career-day-visit\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">Fuente<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The guardians of a young New Mexico boy are suing after learning a police officer used a 50,000 volt tazer on their 10-year-old child.
