He was taken to the local hospital where doctors treated third degree burns over three-quarters of his body.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Mohsen Ben Hneya, a resident of Sidi Bouzid, told\u00a0<em>Tunisia Live\u00a0<\/em>that Slimani self-immolated because he suffers from a neurological disorder.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">His father is a poor man who works in the municipality of Sidi Bouzid, Ben Hneya added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">\u201cBecause of his poverty, the young man wished to work with his father in the municipality,\u201d he said. \u201cUnfortunately, his health situation does not allow him to work.
