{"id":20741,"date":"2017-08-04T00:19:32","date_gmt":"2017-08-04T04:19:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theredphoenixapl.org\/?p=20741"},"modified":"2017-08-04T00:19:32","modified_gmt":"2017-08-04T04:19:32","slug":"53-years-of-the-marxist-leninist-communist-party-of-ecuador-pcmle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/redphoenix.news\/es\/2017\/08\/53-years-of-the-marxist-leninist-communist-party-of-ecuador-pcmle\/","title":{"rendered":"53 Years of the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Ecuador (PCMLE)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theredphoenixapl.org\/2014\/05\/05\/may-day-statement-from-the-pcmle-of-ecuador\/pcmle_00002\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-20117\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20117\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/redphoenixnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/pcmle_00002.jpg?resize=700%2C350&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"E47\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span id=\"E48\">On Friday, July 28<\/span><span id=\"E49\">el<\/span><span id=\"E50\">, the Central University of Ecuador in Quito resembled a liberated zone as, festooned with red banners, hammers and sickles, pictures of Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Stalin, the campus hosted a public event celebrating the 53<\/span><span id=\"E51\">rd<\/span><span id=\"E52\"> Anniversary of the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Ecuador (PCMLE).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E53\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span id=\"E54\">Founded in 1964, the PCMLE is a major force in international anti-revisionist Marxism-Leninism. The Party is an active participant in the International Conference of Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations (ICMLPO). The PCMLE has established powerful roots in the w<\/span><span id=\"E55\">omen&#8217;s, student\u2019s, trade union, and Indigenous rights movements in Ecuador. Its electoral wing, <\/span><span id=\"E56\">Unidad Popular<\/span><span id=\"E57\"> (\u201cPopular Unity\u201d) has 500,000 registered members.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E58\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span id=\"E59\">The evening\u2019s festivities began with a presentation by Comrade Osvaldo Palacios, the PCMLE\u2019s National Spokesperson, and included musical and theatrical performances, a tribute to fallen heroes and martyrs of the Party, a salute to the 100<\/span><span id=\"E60\">el<\/span><span id=\"E61\"> anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution, and a message of solidarity delivered by a representative of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Bolivia, on behalf of the international delegates attending the <\/span><span id=\"E62\">XXI International Seminar on the Problems of the Revolution in Latin America.<\/span><span id=\"E63\"> <\/span><span id=\"E64\">The American Party of Labor was represented at the event by its National Chair, Comrade Alfonso Casal, and its National Secretary, Comrade Victor Vaughn.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E65\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span id=\"E66\">The evening concluded with militant chants, a singing of <\/span><em><span id=\"E67\">El <\/span><span id=\"E69\">Internationale<\/span><\/em><span id=\"E71\">, y <\/span><span id=\"E72\">a <\/span><span id=\"E73\">fireworks display.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E74\"><span id=\"E75\" style=\"color:#000000\">The American Party of Labor salutes the PCMLE for its proud history of struggle, not only for the working and oppressed people of Ecuador; but, also for its efforts on behalf of the world Communist movement.
