The reactionary, racist, xenophobic president Donald Trump has announced that the United States government will close the borders with Mexico to prevent the migrants coming from different countries of Latin America and the Caribbean from entering his country.<\/span><\/p>\n

With his fascist and racist rhetoric, he is accusing the migrants of being criminals and terrorists, of endangering the “security of the United States.”<\/span><\/p>\n

What threatens the safety of millions of people around the world is war, aggression and looting. It is U.S. imperialism, European imperialism, which with their policies of war are provoking misery and increasing the flow of immigrants.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mass migration is a phenomenon that is taking place in Africa, Europe, Latin America and Asia. The immigrants are fleeing from war, repression and misery.<\/span><\/p>\n

Its origin is a consequence of the imperialist measures.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ICMLPO decisively condemns the racist, anti-migrant measures of U.S. imperialism. They are measures of misery and war against the workers and peoples of the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ICMLPO struggles together with the migrants and those who organize and stand in solidarity with them, to uphold the rights of migrants and to protect them. We call on the democratic and progressive sectors to add their voices and actions in defense of the rights of migrants and the right of all human beings to free movement. No human being is illegal.<\/span><\/p>\n

We denounce and fight against the repressive actions of the armed forces and state violence against migrants.<\/span><\/p>\n

The struggle against the reactionary policies of the imperialist states is part of the general struggle against the imperialist system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us fight firmly against racism, xenophobia and nationalism.<\/span><\/p>\n
