{"id":24313,"date":"2021-02-20T23:02:41","date_gmt":"2021-02-21T04:02:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theredphoenixapl.org\/?p=24313"},"modified":"2021-02-20T23:02:41","modified_gmt":"2021-02-21T04:02:41","slug":"comrade-walter-zuleta-chicho-has-died","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/redphoenix.news\/es\/2021\/02\/comrade-walter-zuleta-chicho-has-died\/","title":{"rendered":"Comrade Walter Zuleta (\u201cChicho\u201d) Has Died."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/redphoenixnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/c35e949e-121e-448b-847b-cb725128ca48-1.jpeg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24316 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/redphoenixnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/c35e949e-121e-448b-847b-cb725128ca48-1.jpeg?resize=700%2C366&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"366\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, we received a communique from the Revolutionary Communist Party of Bolivia (PCR) that Comrade Walter Zuleta died of COVID-19 February 18<sup>el<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comrade Walter was a life-long communist whose revolutionary activity spanned decades.\u00a0 All his life\u00a0Walter fought for the revolution and socialism.\u00a0 Comrade Walter gave his all for the liberation of the working and oppressed peoples of Bolivia, of Latin America, and of the entire world.\u00a0 Comrade Walter is survived by his partner In\u00e9s, his children Soledad, Christian, Wara, Camilo and Valentina, and his grandchildren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>We had come to know Comrade through his work in the International Conference of Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations (ICMLPO) and his and participation in the annual Seminar on the Problems of the Revolution in Latin America.\u00a0 We are deeply shocked and profoundly saddened at his sudden passing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The American Party of Labor, it\u2019s leadership and cadre, offer our most heartfelt condolences to Comrade Walter\u2019s family, to his comrades of the PCR, and to the workers and toilers of Bolivia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sleep well, Chicho.\u00a0 You have earned your rest.\u00a0 Your cause is immortal.\u00a0 As are you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Camarada Walter Zuleta &#8211; \u00a1Presente!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, we received a communique from the Revolutionary Communist Party of Bolivia (PCR) that Comrade Walter Zuleta died of COVID-19 February 18th.
